Adommy Drabble 9

Calm silenced the dinner table, and the two stole glances at each other, barely paying attention to the food their forks were picking at. The whole day had been spent making love and having thoughtful conversations, so they should be hungry, but oddly enough they couldn't hear their growling stomachs. Tommy couldn't keep a smile from tugging his lips up so he looked away often, trying to calm himself down.
"Why do you keep doing that?"
"Doing what?" Tommy responded, turning his head again.
"That."
"I don't know what you mean."
"Making yourself stop smiling."
"Because—it's embarrassing."
"It's cute."
